Green Eye began as a musical escape into the imagination, an attic studio experiment in improvisation that has evolved into these original compositions.
Though many of the pieces on this album have been performed live in concert, several, including the title track, were composed during the lockdowns of 2020, when musicians all over the world suddenly lost the ability to make music together.
Special thanks to my friend Jaap Berends, without whose friendship, skill, humor, coffee and amazing ears this album would not exist. Thanks also to Janel States, with whom I have shared many adventures and much joy.
